In this class, you will learn a variety of drawing and blending techniques using vine and compressed charcoal with Instructor Maria Rosas. Come learn and practice working with value, proportion, and composition. You will learn how to draw in proportion using the grid method and using value to draw in a realistic style.
We will do a warm up with a loose drawing technique to get the feel of natural foliage. Then we’ll dive into how to make a dark composition still have a light source, and create different values. This will be a mostly charcoal class, with some graphite. Strongly recommend not wearing white!
